  1. 1 small packet Soya Chunks
  2. Marination
  3. 1/2 cup Hung Curd
  4. 1 small Capsicum
  5. 1 medium Onion
  6. 1 medium Tomato
  7. 1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  9. 1/2 tsp Chat Masala
  10. 1/2 tsp Kasuri Methi
  11. 1 tsp Salt
  12. 1/4 tsp Garam Masala powder
  13. 1 tsp ginger paste
  14. 2 tbsp Besan
  15. 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
  16. as required Oil for frying
  17. Gravy
  18. 1 medium Onion
  19. 2-3 green chilli
  20. 2 medium Tomato
  21. 2-3 Cardamom
  22. 1 small Cinnamon stick
  23. 2-3 Cloves
  24. 1 small ginger piece
  25. 5-6 Garlic (finely minced)
  26. 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  27. 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  28. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  29. 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  30. 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  31. 1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  32. as per taste Salt
  33. 1/4 tsp Garam Masala powder
  34. 1/2-1 cup Water
  35. as required Oil for Cooking
  36. 3 tbsp chopped Coriander

Instructions to make to make Soya Tikka Masala

  1. Chop veggies into cubes, take hung curd and take boiled and squeezed soya chunks.
  2. Assemble all marination ingredients.
  3. In a mixing bowl add curd, add Besan, ginger and all spices except red chilli powder. Mix all very nicely.
  4. In pan add oil and heat oil moderately, switch off flame and add Kashmiri red chilli powder and mix well. Pour this chilli oil into the marination mixture and mix nicely.
  5. Now add soya chunks + diced veggies and give a good mix, keep in rest for 1/2 hour to 1 hour.
  6. Now in moderately heated pan, add oil, first fry the marinated soya chunks till golden brown.
  7. Fry the marinated veggies also.
  8. Assemble all ingredients for gravy.
  9. In moderately heated pan add oil, add cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and allow to crackle, then add chopped onion and sauté till translucent, then add ginger + garlic and sauté for few seconds. Then add chopped potatoes and sauté for few seconds.
  10. Tomato will turn mushy, add all spices and stir fry till spices leaves oil and turns aromatic.
  11. Now add the left over marinade mixture by adding little water and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add remaining water and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  12. Now add chopped coriander and mix well. Add soya and all veggies, mix well and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  13. Dish is done.
  14. Soya Tikka Masala is ready to serve.
